An Excellent Knife
I’ve personally had and used this knife for more than half my life. In fact it was one of the first knives I saved up for and purchased myself as a teenager after hearing the stories of my uncle toting his to Vietnam and back with testament to the knife alone saving his life (or POW status) on 2 separate occasions. That sentimentality aside, it has also been an excellent knife over the years with very few complaints. The steel has generally worn very well (that is very little) and I can attest that the blade is one of the few in my collection that has never required reprofiling or professional sharpening of any kind. The grind was completely symmetrical and the spear tip has never lost integrity. The edge stability, strength and toughness of the blade have proven to be excellent as well. I now own many alternative knives that I prefer for everyday carry due to their balance and weight advantages but I will always treasure this knife and plan to pass it along to my son someday.

Puma Sargent
I have had this knife for about 25 years and it has been one of my favorites. It always goes down the river with me on canoe trips in Arkansas and has been in the front pocket of my jeans for protection in parts of town that could be dangerous. It looks almost as good as when I bought it and hasnt got a bit of rust or discoloration. I think when I bought it Puma had the new handle and it has been great. A beautiful and well balanced knife.
