Functions:

Splitting firewood (batoning): The robust and durable blade is perfect for splitting firewood by so-called ‘batoning’. This involves driving the blade with a piece of wood through smaller branches or pieces of wood to quickly prepare kindling or firewood in the wilderness.

Hammer function with the back of the blade: The robust back of the blade can be used as a makeshift hammer, e.g. for hammering in tent pegs or crushing nuts. This versatile use makes the knife an indispensable tool in any outdoor situation.
