This is our version of a gardener's knife. Corresponding tools are already mentioned in the 15th century. Unlike the grape knife, the gardener's knife is still widely used today. It is usually a folding knife. The handle length of gardening knives is usually between approx. 9 cm and 12 cm, the folding blades are only a few centimeters shorter. Small gardening knives are used for the care of perennials or like a small sickle when harvesting in the herb garden.
