PUMA white hunter – Lion Edition
The ‘white hunter’ model is the ultimate classic with a universal blade that has been tried and tested for decades to meet the most demanding requirements – handmade in Solingen.
The two fine woods symbolize the majestic appearance of the male lion: the deep red plum wood represents his powerful, thick mane, while the light, richly textured olive wood reflects the silky sheen of his coat. This knife thus combines strength and elegance in a unique tribute to the king of the savannah.
Developed in 1956 for the East African hunting organization EAPHA, the PUMA ‘white hunter’ quickly became known worldwide as the ultimate outdoor knife and is now considered an extremely popular classic. Its blade shape has been carefully thought out and effortlessly meets every conceivable requirement.
The sturdy tip is robust enough to open cans or pry off bottle caps. A hatchet edge is ground into the center of the blade spine, which is used for rough work such as splitting firewood or chopping bones. In addition, the blade has practical serrations at the rear of the cutting edge for cutting green branches, fish skin or similar materials with a firm surface.
This exclusive model is available with high-quality handle scales made from two different, carefully selected types of wood: deep red shimmering plum wood and beautifully grained olive wood. An elegant brass insert has been incorporated between the wooden elements, further emphasizing the refined appearance of this classic knife.
Another highlight of this lion version is the beautiful laser engraving on the blade. The knives are numbered consecutively. The numbers are assigned after the order is received. It is therefore not possible to select a specific number.
