Product information "PUMA skinner, pakka wood"
The "skinner" model is a special knife in a classic shape that was developed in the second half of the last century and has lost none of its popularity - by PUMA Solingen.
The tip of the Skinner blade, which is typical for skinning, is slightly above the back of the blade on this Solingen classic. As a result, the cutting edge becomes very bulbous in the front part and is thus lengthened. This has the advantage that much longer cuts can be made and the need to apply the knife repeatedly is reduced. Since the tip of the blade is very high, the risk of accidentally stabbing the valuable fur is also significantly reduced. Distortion-free pakkawood scales and reliable aluminum finger protection sit on the continuous flat tang.
